Emily plays on reproduction historical clarinets and basset horns by Agnes Guerroult (after Lotz, 1780); Peter van der Poel (after Grenser, 1810) and Jochen Seggelke (after Ottensteiner, 1875), as well as original 19th- and 20th-century instruments from her own collection.
Boxwood & Brass’s debut CD Music for a Prussian Salon was released in 2016 to unanimous critical praise. It features world-premiere recordings of music by the viruoso clarinetist Franz Tausch (1762-1817) and musicians associated with him. Listen to excerpts here
